By working closely with our Multifamily servicers and employing an agile mindset, over the past few years we have modernized our operations to enhance efficiency. This effort included reviewing processes for opportunities to automate or simplify. Our ultimate goal is to improve the way our servicers do business with us — and we’re seeing real-time results in myOptigo®.
How We've Made It Easier
- Investor Reporting: Our investor reporting was the first process to be migrated to myOptigo in July 2020 for a more modern and intuitive experience. Through the Investor Reporting feature, servicers can submit monthly reporting for cash and bond loans as well as delinquency and forbearance reporting. Since inception, we’ve continued to modify the tool for enhanced loan reporting.
- Servicer Remittances: From multiple conversations with customers, we discovered the need for an improved solution for servicer remittances as the previous system was outdated. To address this, we rolled out myOptigo Servicer Remittances in June 2023, allowing servicers to initiate remittance transactions for their monthly principal and interest (P&I) and pay-off and related fees. This feature automatically generates an ACH transaction request to draft funds from the servicer P&I custodial account to be sent to Freddie Mac.
- Master Servicing: The previous master servicer reporting process was very manual and relied on emails. In January 2024, we introduced the myOptigo Master Servicer Reporting feature to automate the monthly Master Servicer reporting and streamline the reconciliation of Sub-Servicer and Freddie Mac reporting data. This transition created a central access point and streamlined the workflow. We’ve continued to enhance the feature to increase data visibility and improve report tracking.

We have deployed numerous enhancements to these myOptigo features thanks to the feedback from our servicers. Collaboration remains at the heart of our technology journey.
