Financing Seniors Housing in the Finger Lakes Region
We provided a $58.2 million Seniors Housing loan to help refinance a 332-unit community in upstate New York.
In Rochester, New York, Freddie Mac Multifamily and Optigo® lender Lument supported borrower, Wegman Companies, with refinancing The Village at Unity and The Hamlet, a campus-style seniors housing community.
The 332-unit community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care options across two properties. The Village at Unity features 272 independent living units, while The Hamlet provides 40 assisted living units and 20 memory care units.
The apartments range from studio to one- and two-bedrooms in size, along with designated guest suites on-site, which provide family members or friends a place to stay while visiting a loved one. In addition to specialty senior caregiving, the community offers residents a full range of amenities, including a business center, activities room, fitness center, walking paths and transportation services. The property is conveniently located adjacent to Unity Hospital.
Freddie Mac provided $58.2 million in permanent financing through a 10-year, fixed-rate Seniors Housing loan.
“We were able to deliver an optimal outcome for our client by collaborating with Freddie Mac to secure 10-year financing on a stable community,” says Tyler Armstrong, Managing Director with Lument. “The financing facilitated renovations to the community that will improve resident satisfaction. We appreciate the ongoing partnership with Freddie Mac and its ability to meet our clients’ objectives with its product set and financing expertise.”
We're proud to partner with Lument and Wegman Companies to support quality seniors housing options in New York — and across the country.
