America’s Rental Housing 2024 report by the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University has found that although high volumes of new supply has come online, more renter households are cost burdened than ever before, and a record number of people are experiencing homelessness. We welcome back Whitney Airgood-Obrycki, senior research associate and lead author, to discuss what these findings mean for the nation's renters and multifamily industry.
